Privacy Policy

Effective and last reviewed: September 21, 2026

This policy applies to the thepricepk.com website, mobile applications, web views, and related product-research services. It explains the information we receive, why we use it, when service providers process it, and the choices available to visitors and app users.

Information you provide

  • Contact messages, including your name, email address, subject, message, and any product page or source details you choose to include.
  • Product reviews, including the public display name, rating, and comment you submit. Reviews are held for moderation before publication.
  • App feedback, correction requests, privacy requests, support messages, and optional information you choose to send from the website or app.

Do not submit payment details, passwords, identity documents, or other sensitive personal information. A published review may be visible to anyone until it is removed.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting, security, analytics, and advertising providers may process IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, diagnostic events, and cookies or similar identifiers. We also use local browser storage or cookies to remember choices such as the selected country market.

If you use a mobile app version, app platforms, operating systems, and app service providers may also process app version, device model, operating system version, language, crash logs, performance diagnostics, network status, installation source, and similar technical information. If advertising or analytics SDKs are enabled in the app, they may process advertising identifiers or app-instance identifiers where permitted by law and platform rules.

We may use Firebase services in the app, such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, App Check, or Firebase Authentication if those features are added. Depending on the enabled service, Firebase may process Firebase installation IDs, app-instance IDs, crash traces, performance events, notification tokens, IP address, device details, app version, and authentication contact details that you provide.

Mobile app permissions

The app should request device permissions only when a feature needs them. Depending on the app version, this may include notifications, internet access, or opening external links in a browser. If a future feature asks for access to location, camera, photos, files, contacts, microphone, or similar sensitive permissions, the app should show the platform permission prompt and use that access only for the feature described at the time.

How we use information

  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and apps.
  • Respond to questions, corrections, privacy requests, and abuse reports.
  • Moderate reviews and protect the service from spam or misuse.
  • Measure aggregate traffic and understand which pages are useful.
  • Understand app stability, diagnose crashes, deliver notifications you allow, and manage app configuration.
  • Display and measure advertising when advertising is enabled and permitted.

Analytics, cookies, and advertising

We use Vercel Analytics for website measurement. We may also use Google AdSense to fund the website and Google AdMob or another app-advertising service to fund mobile apps. Firebase may be used for app analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, remote configuration, messaging, app integrity, or sign-in features. Google and participating vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, app identifiers, installation identifiers, or other identifiers to serve, limit, personalize where permitted, and measure ads. You can read how Google uses information from partner sites and manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center.

Advertising remains disabled on the website until the required consent controls are configured. App advertising, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, and other SDK features should be enabled only after the app disclosures, consent screens, and store declarations accurately match the app build. When ads are enabled, users in regions that require consent will be shown choices before advertising cookies or identifiers are used, including available refusal and preference controls. Browser and device settings may also block, reset, or delete cookies and advertising identifiers, although some preferences may then be lost.

Service providers and disclosures

Information may be processed by providers that supply hosting, databases, security, analytics, crash reporting, app distribution, push messaging, authentication, advertising, and technical support. These providers may include Supabase, Vercel, Cloudinary, Google, Firebase, AdMob, Google Play, Apple, and similar service providers depending on the version of the website or app. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention and security

Contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, keep correction records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Review records may remain while a product page is published or until removal is justified. Server and security logs are retained according to provider settings. We use HTTPS and reasonable access controls, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Accounts and deletion

Our current public service is designed for product research, contact messages, and moderated reviews rather than user account storage. If a website or app version later offers account creation, we will provide a clear way to request account and associated data deletion, and we will update this policy if the data handling materially changes.

Your choices and requests

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. To make a request, use our contact form and include enough detail for us to identify the relevant message or review. We may need to verify the request.

Children

These general-audience services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information. If an app store listing is configured for children or families, the app must follow the additional platform rules that apply to that audience.

External links and policy changes

Product pages and app screens may link to manufacturers, retailers, app stores, ad providers, analytics providers, and other sources with their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those practices. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a revised effective date.
